This year’s Home of Tomorrow at Downtown Design Dubai will blend cutting-edge technology with high-end design, and showcase how one can create the ultimate living experience with the touch of a button. Aimed at transforming our everyday lives, the installation will feature window-blinds that roll up and down following sunset and sunrise timings, high-tech bulbs that turn themselves off, glass panels that turn from transparent to opaque for privacy and much more…
Downtown Design’s 2014 Dubai edition highlights the latest innovations in interior design.
The hi-tech showcase at the fair will include renowned brands such as ikonhouse whose retail outlet includes Bang & Olufsen, Crestron, Lutron, Berker, Hager, Emeco, Fritz Hansen, Louis Pulsen, Montana and Vitra.
“Home automation is already here and it is intuitive to use. From the movies to reality, we can imagine that the smart home of tomorrow will learn our habits and adapt to our lifestyles blending seamlessly into our everyday lives”, says Cristina Romelli Gervasoni, Downtown Design’s Fair Director “The key is to make sure that we never notice that all these technologies are there.
